Letter to the Grand Duchess Christina (an excerpt from Discoveries and Opinions of Galileo), while not directly lending itself to a Bible study, is nonetheless a simply superb God-glorifying historical document highlighting the unique writing style of that period.
Interestingly, Galileo uses the Holy Bible as his primary argument against contradiction to the physical notions commonly held among academic philosophers of the time.
Long before “Christian apologetics”, or “Bible apologetics” were coined terms, Galileo Galilei was already defending the faith – a very cool read, indeed!
